FRIED SQUIDS; FRIED CALAMARI ( calamari fritti )

Hi Guys!!

Today I will cook fish….. a delicious fish Fried squids.

This was the only way of my mother to make to eat fish when i was a little boy.

This recipe is simple but very good.

Ingredients:

  • 100 grams flour ( the usually)
  • 100 grams of durum wheat semolina
  • 200/300 grams of fresh squids
  • 1 liter of fry oil

Preparation:

Put the flour and the semolina in a bowl and mix them.

You cut to rings the squids.

Put the squids in a bowl and flour the squids very well.

In a frying pan put the oil.

When the oil is ready you take the squids and you remove the flour in excess with a sieve ( I use a colander) and put in the oil.

When the squids are browning ( 3-5 minutes) you pull out.

Now you put the squids in a dish and serve with a lemon slice.

SIMPLE; GOOD; EATING

Sorry for my english.

I have not tried calamari yet. It is traditional with some of the Italian community for Christmas Eve. I knew an Italian man who had a German wife.He let her make many foods, but would not trust her to make the calamari!
