About me

Hi to everybody! My name is Alberto and alive in the east north of Italy.

I have two passions the trips and to cook.

In my trips I have met restaurants that sold off for Italian dishes that in Italy they don’t exist, especially in north america.

In Italy pasta doesn’t exist with the meatballs or with the chicken or the bread to the garlic…

For this I have decided to create this blog to make to know the true dishes of the Italian tradiI now apologize me since for my English but I hope that the recipes are of your pleasure…. Good appetitetion

I would love to know more about “real” Italian food, as I’m sure most of what we make over here in America is sadly “Americanized”. Look forward to browsing your other recipes!

  21. Greetings from Australia Alberto,
I do enjoy Italian food immensely. However I’d love to go back to Northern Italy primarily to experience its rich culture and photograph its beautiful nature and way of life. I’ve only ever been to Turin, but would love to explore more of the rest of Northern Italy.

Hi, thanks for stopping by my blog.
You live in a beautiful country and one day I’d like to visit it.Italy is a beautiful country because even though it’s small as inside surface there are many regions, and each region is different from the other.
I live in Friuli Venezia Ammar a small region of the Northeast. Here there are many artistic things to see but what is there is very interesting.I live in Cividale del Friuli and this year became a UNESCO World Heritage site.
My region is very beautiful for its scenery as 200 km you are from the Alps to the beaches of the Mediterranean, passing through the hills (famous for the white wine) and the plain. If I can be useful for some information for your next trips ask as well.

  23. Ciao Alberto, I have relatives in Arzignano. In fact, one of my cousins is called Alberto! Welcome to the world of blogging! I cook Italian too and I love to bake. I’m looking forward to reading your recipes.

LOVE THE RECIPES, ITALIAN IS MY FAVORITE. WHEN I WAS A CHILD I WENT TO EVERY ITALIAN HOME IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD FOR DINNER. MANY HAPPY MEMORIES FROM THAT TIME. THESE WERE REAL ITALIAN FAMILIES. WE STILL HAVE FRIENDS IN ITALY. WILL TRY YOUR RECIPES.

  27. Rose D'Amario says:

ciao Alberto, I’m an Italian living in Canada. I agree with you strongly about the Italian restaurants in North America that are definately NOT Italian, they are very Americanized. Furthermore, I read somewhere that you started this blog because you wanted to practice your English??? What a coincidence, I had mentioned to my husband (he is Milanese, from Macherio) that I want to start my blog in Italian because I need to practice my Italian, and hope that everytime I make a mistake someone will be kind enought to correct me….I think I will do just that. You have inspired me to do so. Please reply and hopefully soon your dream of moving to Canada will become reality.
All the best and keep in touch. Ciao
    Rose
